Committee - Home Economics
Date - Friday 8th February 2013
Time - 10am - 3.30pm

On the 8th February we will be learning two separate techniques in order to create a finished product. First is the Chopsuey Patchwork, this is not a very common form of patchwork, so a lot more information will be given on the day. Basically Chopsuey Patchwork is a strip patchwork technique where fabric strips are sewn together and then cut apart to create your own individual design.

The next technique that will be taught on the 8th February is the Roman Stripes Patchwork. Roman Stripes is the patchwork technique that features three triangles that are made up of stripes of fabric that you have pieced together yourself. This technique is simple enough for beginners, but creates a great effect when it is all pieced together.

We only have 5 places left for this course. If you are interested in attending please contact the office on 0113 2550810 or email on
