PA Lunch

On the 26th June, over 100 of our members had a very enjoyable day at Wilsden Village Hall, which hosted our Annual PA Lunch. This year we are very interested in Bletchley Park as it was home to women in the war. So, after our lovely lunch of carrot and coriander soup, ham and turkey with potatoes, salad, egg, coleslaw and beetroot for our main and lemon tart for dessert, we enjoyed an extensive talk from Hugh Davies from Bletchley Park, who spoke to our members about the women's role in the war.

To follow on from the Annual PA Lunch, next week (17th & 18th July) 44 of our members are going on an arranged visit to Oxford where we can enjoy an afternoon in the "city of spires". We can then enjoy our evening meal at the Holt Hotel Steeple Aston. The following day we will enjoy our breakfast before going off for morning coffee and a guided tour of Bletchley Park before a light lunch.

We hope you all enjoy your time at Bletchley Park!
