September Already!

This month we have quite a few events coming up to do with craft, science and excercise.

First this month we have two of the same workshop because it was so popular. This is for the making of Fabric Christmas Trees. This on the 9th and the 16th of September, where there are still a few places on each. These days will be full of fabric cutting and accesorising of their hand made Christmas trees.

Next this month is the first of two visits to Drax Power Station near Selby. There are two visits for each day we are attending. One at 10AM and one at 2PM. The consists of the members making their own way to the venue and possibly having a look around the town. Then there will be a tour of the facilities.

The last Federation event of this month is on Saturday 24th September and is the Autumn Ramble, which is being hosted by Wadsworth WI. At 10.30AM the memebrs will be meeting at Old Town Cricket Pavillion and there are a choice of three distances to walk. A 3 mile, 5 mile and an 8 mile walk. Tea, Coffee and cakes are avaliable to purchase on the day, but a packed lunch is required.

Also take a look at our recipes and books page. We have three new recipes for the new Autumn season that has taken over the Summer weather and we have a mysterious recent novel by Araminta Hall.

Bye for now! x
