Eleven Treasurers had a happy day with lots of questions and interaction on Saturday looking at ways to keep the Institute Accounts.
They were shown both the “Old Fashioned” paperwork and the “New World” of computer accounting.
At the end of the day some of those who knew nothing about the computer system thought they might give it a try, but being cautious would use the old accounting books as backup to begin with.
We received very encouraging comments from the members attending - some of which are noted below.
"A very informative day, many thanks"
"Brillinat- thoroughly enjoyed"
"Very informative and comprehensive"
We are holding another day for Treasurers in the Autumn, full details will be published in our newsletter West Yorkshire News.
